EMI US Album Sales Set To Improve In Sep
Quoted from: http://www.newratings.com
'0738 GMT [Dow Jones] EMI's (EMI.YY) release schedule picks up in the next two months with new albums due from Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams. Lehman Brothers says US album sales were down 11% last week, the 8th straight week of soft data. However, it expects this to look better in the second week of September due to an improved release schedule and weaker comparative figures. Bullish on EMI although softness will continue as sales data continues to drag. Shares trade +1.8% at 252.5p. (NPF)
