'Robbie Williams has made yet another joke about being gay - after claiming he is an "absolute bender." .
The pop heartthrob, who has been plagued by speculation surrounding his sexuality throughout his career, made the shock confession during a live radio interview on KEY 103. .
After being quizzed on whether he was gay, Robbie - who has been romantically linked to former flatmate and close friend Jonathan Wilkes - quipped: "Yes, I'm an absolute bender!". Bender is British slang for a gay person. The 'Trippin'' singer also further fuelled rumours he could be gay by insisting he has no intention of getting married and isn't on the look out for a girlfriend.
He added: "I think growing up in my 20s, not knowing who I really was, I wanted someone to come and save me, to make me better. But now I'm like, I've got plenty of time".
On his new album, 'Intensive Care', the handsome star has penned a song called 'My Gay Best Friend' further fuelling speculation.
Robbie has dated a string of famous beauties, including Rod Stewart's ex-wife Rachel Hunter, Cameron Diaz and former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell and Melanie C.'
