Robbie back!

BBC Stoke & Staffordshire newssection Robbie is back online. Here's their latest:

'01/10/05
Two thousand fans packed the London Astoria to watch Rob. It's a pretty small intimate venue - especially when you remember Knebworth! - but Rob went through a load of tracks from his new album, as well as old hits.Robbie was dressed in his usual blue jeans, but this time had on a black leather jacket and blue T-shirt with a sparkling motif, and when he came on stage the sound was deafening! The audience was a sea of arms and mobile phones held aloft by fans to take photos of their idol. The first track, Ghosts, a song from his new album, met with a mixed reception, though when Williams teased the ladies with lyrics like "I'm taking you home", they were definitely in approval mode; and when Rob launched into "Feel" the crowd burst into song. One fan, Nicole Guala, 22, of Mile End, London, said: "He's brilliant. I had to queue for hours to get a ticket, but it's been worth it." The Astoria was the second of three warm-up gigs before the official launch of Intensive Care, due to be released on October 24th. First was Paris on Thursday, and next is Amsterdam on Wednesday, then the big one at the Velodrom in Berlin, Germany on October 9th. The Berlin show is being filmed for the first ever Europe wide cinema-cast - in high definition and surround sound - with TV broadcasts to follow. Swoon....We can't wait!'
