Two extra concerts Robbie Williams in The Netherlands

'AMSTERDAM - Robbie Williams geeft twee extra concerten in Nederland. De eerste twee shows van de Britse zanger op 21 en 22 juni volgend jaar waren zaterdag binnen twintig minuten uitverkocht.

Concertorganisator Mojo kondigde vervolgens na overleg met het management nog twee concerten aan, op 24 en 25 juni. Deze kaarten waren om 11.30 uur zaterdagochtend ook allemaal verkocht. De voorverkoop is enorm snel gegaan, aldus Mojo. 'Ik weet niet of dit het absolute record is, de kaarten voor U2 waren ook binnen anderhalf uur verkocht, maar dat ging om drie concerten in de ArenA.'
Zanger Robbie Williams was onlangs nog in Nederland voor een intiem concert in Paradiso in Amsterdam voor slechts duizend gelukkigen. Hij deed dat als voorproefje voor zijn grote concert in Berlijn, waar hij zijn nieuwe album Intensive Care aankondigde. Die plaat staat momenteel bovenaan de hitlijsten. Ook de hit Tripping daarvan, heeft al op nummer een gestaan.
De Britse zanger gaf in 2003 voor het laatst een groot concert in Nederland. Toen stond hij ook in de ArenA.'
