HILVERSUM - The studio's of RTL Boulevard were standing on their heads on thursday. Nobody less than popstar Robbie Williams was visiting the RTL-programme of Daphne Bunskoek and Albert Verlinde. The singer told about his newest album Intensive Care and also sung two songs of it. As a final to his lightning visit Bunskoek and Verlinde each got a big kiss from the singer.

Verlinde had even tried to get football player Ruud Van Nistelrooy to the studio for footy lover Williams. Van Nistelrooy however had a penalty training with his football club Manchester United because the team lost the day before. 'I named my dog after Van Nistelrooy', said the popstar.

Williams will give four concerts in The Netherlands next year. The in total 200.000 cards for those were sold out within one and a half hour. 'When I heard about that, I did a dance of joy', said the singer. He said that he is sometimes surprised about his own fame. 'Can it possibly become larger than this?' For the time being it still seems that the singer is not yet at the top of his fame. He runs from here to there for promotion and gigs. 'The last four days I was in five countries and tonight I'm flying to Germany.'

Except talking about himself, the singer also wanted to know things about his hostess and host. He asked Bunskoek what she did before she started presenting RTL Boulevard. She told that she had to get up at 4 am every morning for her last show 'Goedemorgen Nederland' (Goodmorning Netherlands). 'That must have been devestating for your sexlife', concluded Williams.

'Are you gay?', he asked Verlinde. Which gave Verlinde a nice link to the courtcase the singer had won from several Brittish tabloids. These had written that Williams was gay, but have had to rectify. 'I really hate Brittish tabloids and every chance I can get to sue them I will take.'

Williams could also be seen in the SBS6 show 'Shownieuws'. Presentor Ellemieke Vermolen crawled into bed with the singer. He refused her offer to get in the tub with her, however.
