But despite three good chances in front of goal, the 32-year-old Port Vale fan failed to hit the back of the net.
The former Take That star's team - dressed in red - were soundly beaten 7-5.
And poor Robbie even had trouble with his kit as he was forced to stop and hitch up his shorts.
