Robbie wraps up The Netherlands easily again

'AMSTERDAM - Merely the joker already is sufficient. Popstar Robbie Williams knows how the game has to be played if one is not the starmusician. One then especially has to entertain and that is exactly what he did on Wednesday in the ArenA in Amsterdam where he gave his first concert out of four.
He crawls, he swings and he plays the audience masterly. Sometimes that happens by means of a funny face, another time with a remark or an act. Somewhere halfway during the concert for instance he takes a camera out of the audience, puts the lens in his pants, prints off and throws the camera back. And all of that during a nice bit of singing. In The Netherlands they call that pleasantly disturbed.
Ofcourse his music has a lot of what other music just doesnt have: the feeling of getting caught and wanting to sing along undisturbed, as with Feel, Trippin'and Rock DJ during the concert. That makes his work interesting for a large group. And he seems to realise that well. Probably learned that during the succes of the boyband Take That.
If The Netherlands had already heard that Take That is getting back, 'the band that I was in as little Robbie, the drugs-Robbie. I was really pissed off when I learned that they had not asked me; really would have loved to go on tour with the band, untill I found out that I had sold 2.5 million tickets myself for my little tour', the entertainer informed the audience. It is as Robbie himself already sings: 'Let me entertain you'.
What he also understood so well was the Dutch football mania, especially since The Netherlands played against Argentina during the concert. He regularly reported the score, although there was not much to report. So during the song 'Sin Sin Sin' he just grabbed at the praised Heineken-Holland horn to put it on his head or strap it up like a dildo.
And then ofcourse there had to be footballed. Together with his collegue-musician John Wilkes, with whom he recorded the dvd in the Royal Albert Hall, they both kicked a ball into the audience. 'Whomever kicks the ball the highest, is the winner. The audience is the jury, but promise not to sue us if we would shoot against your head. The audience loudly agreed. Well and why not sing the song Strong all together. There went the autocue on the screens and even weak-sighted could roar along.
Williams created the party as the audience desired. A sold-out ArenA - for four days- enjoyed with full force. Afterwards it was especially talking about the humor he has, the nice ass and the unsurpassed joker.'
