'Robbie Williams has lent his considerable talents to a new Pet Shop Boys CD in return for a bit of help with his own long-awaited new album. The pop superstar makes a guest appearance on the 80s icons' new double CD, Concert, which will be released next month.
Meanwhile, Neil Tennant and keyboard player Chris Lowe have collaborated on Rob's upcoming album, which is yet to be named.
It isn't the first time Robbie has teamed up with the band.
The threesome worked together on his single No Regrets in 1998.
Robbie is set to release the first single, Rudebox, from his new album next month, but has already tried to explain what it's all about.
"Rudebox is loads of different things.
"Sometimes it could be a vibe delivered in a spaceship direct to the studio, sometimes it's a really nasty girl dancing scantily-clad, or sometimes it's a giant soundsystem..." he helpfully explained.
Concert is scheduled for a September 25 release.
Rudebox will hit the shops on September 4.'
