Robbie Williams concerts hailed a success

Quoted from: http://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/

'THE record-breaking five concerts at the Nationl Bowl - which saw more than 320,000 people descend on the city - have passed without serious incident.
Organisers and the local authorities have praised fans who went to the Robbie Williams concerts as well as local residents.A police spokesman said: "We would like to thank concert goers for being patient leaving the venue - although the wait was minimal compared to other, similar events in other areas of the country."We would also like to thank the residents of Milton Keynes and those visiting the city for other reasons who avoided the area, allowing agentcies to concentrate on getting traffic away from the venue as quickly as possible."The only reported crimes were two robberies and three people were arrested in connection with break ins into two cars. Six people were given cautions for possession cannabis and cocaine and five people were issued with fixed penalty notices for minor disorder offences. The spokesman added: "Considering the city had an influx of people, greater in number than the population of Milton Keynes by about 100,000, there were very few incidents."
