ROBBIE Williams is to present TV celebrity football show The Match.
The star will turn his hand to hosting Sky One's hit show this October.
An insider said: "Robbie said he wanted to play, but now he's going to present the show.
"Everybody knows he's obviously football mad - and who knows, it could lead to a new career for Robbie if he wants it." In October 2004, Port Vale fan Robbie, 31, watched close friend and actor Jonathan Wilkes lead a team of celebrities at a 52,000 sell-out St James' Park, Newcastle.
At the time he said: "I'd love to play if there's a match next season."
Wilkes will again lead the celebrity team, though it remains unclear at this point if Robbie will line-up in the side.
