Beckhams team up with Robbie

"FOOTBALL fan Robbie Williams came face to face with one of his all-time heroes yesterday - Real Madrid star David Beckham. Port Vale supporter Robbie met the midfielder and his wife Victoria as they mounted a charm offensive in Los Angeles. The Beckhams spent the day at business meetings and shopping before attending a star-studded party full of Tinseltown's top celebs, including Diana Ross and Lionel Richie. The bash was to mark the opening of Beckham's new Hollywood football academy. He already has one in London. David and Victoria were secretly whisked to the private party at the California Arts Centre in a blacked-out Jeep. Unveiling the soccer school, Becks said: 'I went to the Bobby Charlton Academy when I was young and I have always dreamed of opening my own.' Earlier, Posh made a number of appearances promoting clothes company Rock and Republic, for whom she models. She later browsed the rails at top clothes shop Fred Segals."
