'Little Britain' star David Walliams is taking singing lessons so he can perfect his next impersonation - Robbie Williams. The next series of the comedy smash will feature a new character performing in Robbie's style and will be played by the 33-year-old funnyman Robbie, 31, has become great pals with David and his writing partner Matt Lucas, after appearing with the pair as part of the show's Comic Relief special. But his friendship will not save him from being sent up on the sketch show.However, according to Walliams vocal coaches, 'Fame Academy' duo David and Carrie Grant, the comedian is struggling and is singing is not yet up to scratch. A source said: "David's got a terrible voice. The raw material just isn't very good. He's taken Robbie Williams as the inspiration for the character and approached Carrie and David for two quick lessons. "But he's ended up having five - one every day this week - because his vocals are terrible."
