'Pop hunk ROBBIE WILLIAMS is planning to spend a staggering $3.5 million (£2 million) on an idyllic country manor in England's Lake District. The ROCK DJ singer fell in love with the house, which is located just 35 kilometres (22 miles) from his former TAKE THAT bandmate MARK OWEN, after selling his lavish London home last month (JUN05). The fabulous country pile, originally a hotel, boasts nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a sauna and billiards room, as well as a massive eight-and-a-half acres of land. An insider says, "It's a very stunning house - it is very private and in a beautiful location."

In other news the pop hunk is regretting covering his body in tattoos and is considering surgery to remove them. The ROCK DJ star is notorious for his body art, but he's bored of looking at them every day and yearns for his ink-free body. He complains, "I do like getting them done but I wish it was like an Etch-a-Sketch where I can wipe them all out and start again. "It would be nice to have a pure, clean body again." '
