'Robbie Williams is hotly tipped to star in a remake of 1970's classic 'Saturday Night Fever' says UK tabloid The Daily Star, taking over the role made famous by John Travolta. Brothers Robin and Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees fame will gain ownership of their back catalogue of hits this year and are said to be planning a £20 million remake of the disco movie as their first project. The feisty Brit rocker is hotly tipped to play snake-hipped Tony Manero in the film. A friend of the band says: 'They have always wanted to remake the film and bring out a more modern version and Robbie is the ideal candidate to play Tony - he can sing, dance, is a good-looking lad and has loads of charisma.' Williams will be releasing his sixth solo album in Europe next month. Thanks to 'Madeline' '
