'He revealed identity 'Bruce Wayne' style HOLY smoke! You'd think being asked "who are you" by a date would be a real Kerpow! to the face for megastar Robbie Williams. But not so - His Royal Gorgeousness says it gave him the perfect opportunity to have a "Batman moment". We'll let him explain. "It happened with this girl a few months ago. It was in America and not everyone there knows my face. "The first time she came to my house, she was like 'Who are you?' "I sat down and said 'I'm a singer' and put on the DVD of my Knebworth show, telling her: 'Well, have a look at this.'
"It blew her mind, it was brilliant. I was like Bruce Wayne when he says to his lady 'I'm Batman'. "Then I said to her: "Now you know my secret, I must kill you." But it's not just acting the superhero that Rob's currently loving about the dating game. He said: "Last year I found it hard not having a missus, but I'm not lonely at all now. I'm very happy. "I kinda enjoy being single. I know true love's going to happen sometime so I might as well keep having a laugh. "It's good to get my boots on and have a knock about," he joked. Since he went so successfully solo after Take That, the 31-year-old has been linked to a string of beauties including former All Saint Nicole Appleton and Rod Stewart's ex Rachel Hunter. But despite being an enormous hit in the charts and with the ladies, Bob says he's not as confident as he seems. "I'm like a balloon. If you stick a pin in me I would just pop. "If I went out there and the audience didn't want me to have a good time and didn't like me I would crumble. "All that amazing confidence you see when I get on stage would go in an instant." There was certainly no bubble bursting at his intimate gig at London's Astoria on Saturday. He had 2,000 adoring fans in the palm of his hand as he showcased tunes from new album Intensive Care, including the first single, Tripping. He also told the crowd that he plans to go for the Christmas number one with his fantastic new ballad Advertising Space. Well, it wasn't going to be Lonely This Christmas, was it?'
