Robbie rocks The Astoria!

'On Saturday night Robbie was back in the UK to play an incredible show at London's Astoria in front of an audience of just 2000. Tickets for the famous venue only went on sale the day before and had many queing overnight to secure a place for this special perfromance.. Those lucky enough to get a ticket were treated to a mixture of new material from the forthcoming album Intensive Care, all the hits and special moments...Robbie opened the show with Ghosts before setting the venue alight with Feel. While there's always a large amount of crowd interaction at a Robbie Williams show, the smaller venue gave it an extra-intimate edge. Robbie managed to single out Brett who was first in the queue to buy tickets on the Friday and as a thank you, pulled out a tape player and recorded a special bootleg of Trouble With Me especially for him.
As ever, Angels was one of the highlights of the night. A repeat of his performance at Live 8 saw Robbie sing the opening lineand the crowd sing the rest. Robbie simply lit a cigarette, leant back on a speaker and soaked up the moment. He loked physically moved at the end, thanking the crowd for the memories: 'It's one of those moments where I think I'm so lucky in what I do.'
Robbie even threw in a few sneaky samples throughout the evening including Madonna's Get Into The Groove, Dr Hook's When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman, and the current number one by Sugababes, Push The Button 'I love that song', he announced, 'does anybody know who it's by?'
New single tripping sounded amazing live and was followed up with No Regrets, Rock DJ (mixed with a little bit of Frankie's Relax) and the final song of the night, Make Me Pure.'
