Williams wanted for Bond theme tune

'British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been approached to sing the theme tune to the next JAMES BOND movie.
Veteran singer TONY CHRISTIE has written a song he believes suits the former TAKE THAT star's voice perfectly and it is a contender to accompany CASINO ROYALE.
He says, "Robbie's voice would suit it down to the ground - plus he's current and hip so it would be absolutely great if he did it. We tried to make it a typical Bond theme tune with a throbbing dramatic bassline filling the background.
"I'm a huge fan of the old school 007 songs like SHIRLEY BASSEY with GOLDFINGER and TOM JONES singing THUNDERBALL, so I tried to give it that authentic sound. We are due to record it in February."
