Scotland plans come undone

Quoted from: http://www.givemefootball.com

'The Scottish Football Association are searching for a venue for the opening match in the Euro 2008 qualifying campaign after being displaced from Hampden Park by singer Robbie Williams. The former Take That member is set to play at the national stadium in Glasgow on September 1 and 2. Walter Smith's team will open their Euro 2008 campaign with a home match against the Faroe Islands on September 2. But the SFA insist plans are underway for a suitable venue to replace Hampden. An SFA spokesman said: "We have known about the Robbie Williams concert at Hampden for some time now. We are looking at alternative venues for the game to be played but nothing has been decided yet. We will make a decision on the venue for the visit of the Faroe Islands in due course."
