Sway slams Robbie's rapping

Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com/

'SWAY has dismissed his pop star fan ROBBIE WILLIAMS' attempts at rapping, confessing his efforts left him "rolling around laughing". Speaking at the Mercury Prize last night (05SEP06), the London hip-hop star slammed Williams' attempts at a street sound on new single RUDEBOX, adding his voice to a huge list of music stars, radio DJs and critics who have already blasted the track. He said, "I'm not really sure about that rapping. "When I first heard his new record it was funny. I cracked up. I was rolling around laughing." Despite the harsh review, Williams remains a staunch fan of his hip-hop critic. Sway said, "I got a text message from Robbie recently. He rates my album (THIS IS MY DEMO). "He said it was f**king funny, f**king clever - lots of swearing but he liked it." Watch Robbie Williams Rudebox Video
