Mel Pays For Her Own CD
When Mel C was dropped by record label Virgin, she wasn't going to let it get in the way of her career. The Scouse singer came up with a novel alternative - but it could cost her a huge chunk of her bank balance. Mel simply set up her own label - Red Girl - and released new album, Beautiful Intentions, herself. Now she admits she is nervous at putting her own hard-earned readies on the line. Mel said: "I've funded the album so it's a bit of a risk, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. "Hopefully, if we have success, the financial rewards will be good, but I have set it up with my own money knowing that I might lose it. "I was quite nervous before starting the album, but now it's all come together. I'm really pleased with the route I have taken." Meanwhile, she has AGAIN slammed Robbie Williams for being a "fantasist" over claims he bedded four Spice Girls. She stormed: "We've all talked about it and we know there are a couple he never b***d." Classy! Mel also recently slammed the Brits for snubbing the Spice Girls and then ticked off Britney Spears for being too raunchy. You'd never know she has a new album out, would you...
