Church's long-awaited album set for summer

Apr 5 2005

CHARLOTTE CHURCH'S debut pop album should be out this summer.
The singer's record label Song BMG is scheduled to put the CD's long-awaited first single out on June 27.
Called Crazy Chick, this will be followed by the album, rumoured to be called Tissues and Issues, on July 11.
The album's launch was put back from last autumn as industry insiders claimed record bosses told the singer to rethink her song choices.
Charlotte spent six months in the studio last year with Robbie Williams' former songwriting partner, Guy Chambers, to fine-tune her sound.
The Cardiff-born chanteuse holds the record for Youngest No.1 Classical Artist when she hit the number one spot in November 1998, aged 12 years and nine months.
Her album, Voice of an Angel, went double platinum just four weeks after its release.
