Robbiewilliams.com arrived in Germany this morning to bring you the latest news from the huge album launch show taking place at the Velodrom in berlin on Sunday evening. The first event of the weekend, however, was an Intensive Care press conference held at the Tempelhof Airport in the south of the city.

It was clear from the second he walked on stage that Robbie was in a really relaxed and funny mood. Immediately posing for the audience and announcing "I'm very famous...last time I was here I was famous, now Im very famous!' And of course, he was as ever, extremely flirtatious.

Over 200 of the world's media had gathered to put their questions to Robbie, including journalists from countries as far ranging as Iceland, Mexico, Latvia and Australia.

One of the first questions put to Robbie was why he decided to call the album Intensive Care. He siad 'Everyone thinks it's to do with my mental state, but it's simply because it's taken me two years to write and I've taken intensive care with it.' He went on to elaborate by saying how he's really enjoyed working with Stephen Duffy on this record, 'Stephen is very trusting and made me play above myself. I played keyboards and bass and it feels like I own more of the album.' He talked of Tripping being 'My number one...if it gets to number 1' before humming the latest single by the Sugababes.

The subject changed to Live 8 this summer and whether his performance was intended to pay homage to Freddie Mercury. He said 'there was definately a nudge and a wink to Freddie on the night to show my respect'. He gave a quick impersonation of the former Queen front-man which was followed by the classic dance moves of Tina Turner and the strut from Mick Jagger telling everyone, 'My whole career has been based on those three movements'. He also admitted that he didn't sing the correct words to We Will Rock You at Hyde Park...and gave an impression of that too!

Another question was about a track off the new album called Spread Your Wings. In a previous statement Robbie had said he wanted to break people's hearts with that song just as his favorite songs from the 80s and 90s has broken his. When asked which song in particular, he sang 'How Much Is That Doggy In The Window!'

It was only a matter of time before questions surfaced about his love life, including his connection with a certain girl in LA and which nationality were the best in bed. Robbie was very coy, carefully side-stepping the questions, and keeping the answers close to his chest.

He had to think for a moment when asked about his biggest fears. 'I'm really happy now, I'm enjoying being a pop star, life is exciting, I'm enjoying it.' before adding 'I've just learnt to play football properly; my biggest fear is not being able to play footy for a longer time'. He said he was not nervous about delivering such a personal album. 'We've written 60 songs for this album and kept several over for the next batch. This is my best album, I've said it before but it's true. He was asked if it was the perfect album. 'I'm getting pretty close'.

Look out for more news coming soon from Berlin including a review of Robbie's biggest gig for two years!'
