Cullum turns to dance

Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com/

'Jazz singer JAMIE CULLUM is temporarily ditching the blues to produce a dance album - under an anonymous name. The TWENTYSOMETHING hitmaker has been inspired by pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS, who also plans to release a collection of dance tracks under a fake name, according to SunOnline. Cullum, 26, has been recording on his home computer and claims his talents extend to more musical genres than people realise. He says, "I make a lot of electronic music that I would like to put out under a pseudonym. Not because I'm trying to be eclectic, but because it's what I do. "I'll probably just put it on MySpace or iTunes as an EP or something. "I don't want to make a big song and dance about it but I'm sure it'll end up floating about on there some time before the next official Jamie Cullum album. "I make so many different styles of music that people don't necessarily hear or expect. "I think that would surprise people and I want to have an outlet for it."
