Robbie Williams persuaded his childhood sweetheart to abandon Britain and move to California with him - then dumped her after less than a week.
Rachel Gilson sacrificed everything - including her boyfriend - when Robbie begged her to set up home with him in Los Angeles this summer. However, after four days at the singer's Beverly Hills mansion, Williams told her it wasn't working and sent her packing the next day.
During her stay Gilson was shocked by the star's behaviour, the bizarreness of which she blamed on his anti-depressants.
In his recent autobiography Williams described Gilson as his "one and only true love".
"I thought it was for real," she says sadly. "But he's just too famous for it to work."
Being an absolute twat probably doesn't help either...
