We have Scot your kilts
Quoted from: http://www.thesun.co.uk
'THE kilt is more popular in England than Scotland - and that's official.
Kilt hire firm Cameron Ross admitted yesterday it is shipping more orders over the border for Hogmanay than it is sending out to Scots.
Bosses say celebrity kilt wearers like Robbie Williams and Vin Diesel have widened the appeal and 5,000 of the traditional outfits will go south.
Managing director Richard Freedman said: 'Some may think this is theft of Scotland’s national identity. But it illustrates just how acceptable the kilt has become.' '

Robbie Williams's stalker battle
Quoted from: http://www.femalefirst.co.uk
'December 27, 2005, 12:20:05
Robbie Williams is set to face his alleged stalker in court...because she's suing him.
The singer, who took out a restraining order against the woman has been ordered to appear at a Dusseldorf courtroom tomorrow (28.12.05) as she attempts to sue him for defamation of character.
The admirer - who calls herself Conny C - is seeking to sue the star after she lost her job when he said she was stalking him earlier this month. The pop heartthrob claimed Conny bombarded him with emails and calls because she thought he might be abducted by aliens. She was quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper at the time as saying: "I am worried. I believe he is in grave danger.'
Her lawyer, Torsten Timm said yesterday: "We have requested that Williams be requested in court.
"Williams has a fancy for aliens himself. My client is not a stalker and isn't dangerous.
"She has already lost her job because of the accusations and we are now looking at whether we can claim damages.'
At the start of the month the 31-year-old star complained of receiving a barrage of faxes warning him that aliens would strike if he appeared on TV in Germany.
Robbie's lawyers immediately branded her as disturbed and took out a restraining order so Conny couldn't go near the singer.
Earlier this year Robbie admitted he believes Britain will soon be invaded by aliens.
He revealed he was convinced the planet was about to be overrun by extra-terrestrials invaders and warned his fans to be prepared for a close encounter of the third kind.
He told Britain's Radio 2: "I've been dreaming every night about UFO's, every night. I can't wait to go to sleep at night because those dreams have been so brilliant.
"I think they are definitely on their way, seriously. Mark my words. From now until 2012 - watch out kids." '

Robbie Williams` Christmas gift on Euro Top 100 Albums is a return to No. 1
Quoted from: http://music.monstersandcritics.com
'By Paul Sexton
Dec 22, 2005, 21:26 GMT
Robbie Williams' Christmas gift on European Top 100 Albums is a return to No. 1 with 'Intensive Care' (Chrysalis), depriving Madonna of the festive crown with 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' (Warner Bros.). However, she does secure a sixth week atop Eurochart Top 100 Singles with 'Hung Up.'
Williams' album, which moves from 2 to 1 to change places with Madonna, previously had three weeks at No. 1 on the pan-European survey in November, immediately before her four-week reign. 'Intensive Care' moves from 3 to 1 in Austria and stays at No. 1 in Switzerland. It holds at No. 2 in the United Kingdom behind Eminem's 'Curtain Call' (Interscope). 'Curtain Call' falls from 4 to 5 on Top 100 Albums.
Williams is also No. 2 in Germany, behind Xavier Naidoo's 'Telegramm Fur X' (Naidoo Records), and in Holland, behind Katie Melua's 'Piece By Piece' (Dramatico). 'Care' rises from 8 to 5 in Italy.
Enya's 'Amarantine' (Warner Bros.), which entered Top 100 Albums at No. 3 last month, enters its fourth week in that position. The Irish artist's set maintains top five standings in Germany, Holland and Switzerland, although in the United Kingdom, the album has declined from 8 to 16 to 22 to 24.
Coldplay's 'X&Y' (Parlophone), which led Top 100 Albums for 13 consecutive weeks between June and September, bounces back from 19 to 12. That's helped by a 19 to 14 move in its 28th chart week in the United Kingdom, where the album is certified six-times platinum (1.8 million shipments). The single 'Talk' (Parlophone) soars from 17 to 1 in Italy; it was released in the United Kingdom on Monday (Dec. 19).
On Hot 100 Singles, Madonna keeps the top spot ahead of Pussycat Dolls' 'Stickwitu' (A&M/Interscope), which holds at No. 2. 'Hung Up' is still No. 1 in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria and now climbs from 2 to 1 in Hungary. The track falls from the top in Holland and Sweden.
There are two festively-flavored songs making an appearance in the Eurochart top ten. Novelty act Crazy Frog's double-sided 'Jingle Bells' (Mach1) single is up from 19 to 3 overall. The song is paired in most markets with a version of Wham's 1984 seasonal staple 'Last Christmas.' It holds at No. 2 in Spain and climbs from 9 to 7 in France. In the United Kingdom, 'Jingle Bells' opens at No. 5, but it's twinned there with a version of MC Hammer's 'U Can't Touch This,' licensed as with Crazy Frog's previous hits to indie Gut.
The Eurochart's top new entry, at No. 6, is 'JCB Song,' an acoustic guitar ballad by previously-unknown folk-oriented duo Nizlopi, on its self-run FDM label, distributed locally by Nova/Pinnacle. It sells 81,000 copies there, and the group's John Parker tells Billboard.biz that Nizlopi is taking offers from potential international licensees. The duo is planning to tour the United States in 2006, including a South By Southwest appearance in March. Nizlopi will support Jamie Cullum on four U.K. dates next month before four dates of its own Jan. 17-22.
'JCB Song' is expected to be outgunned for the much-sought Christmas No. 1 spot in Britain by Shayne Ward's 'That's My Goal' (Sony BMG). Ward won ITV's 'The X Factor' TV talent series last Saturday (Dec. 17). Sony BMG had the single rush-released Thursday (Dec. 22). The British Christmas No. 1 will be announced this year on Christmas Day.

Williams' fat melting machine
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'British pop singer ROBBIE WILLIAMS is using a specially-made fat-melting contraption to help him lose weight.
The former boyband star, who has battled with his weight throughout his pop career, has had Vacunaut machines installed at his homes in London and Los Angeles.
It involves strapping on a 'wetsuit', corset and a suction hose and jogging on a treadmill.
ZEENAT SHAH, whose company make the Vacunaut, says, "I wouldn't say we're the only reason Robbie looks the way he does, but he follows the programme three times a week for 40 minutes."
CHRIS HEATH, the author of Williams' biography FEEL, adds, "Most days he appears in his suit, like an eccentric spaceman asking to be zipped up or unzipped."

Take That sack manager
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'British boyband TAKE THAT have axed their longstanding manager because they have no use for him in their forthcoming comeback tour.
NIGEL MARTIN-SMITH, who propelled the pop outfit to fame in the early nineties, will now take a back seat in the band.
The RELIGHT MY FIRE hitmakers, who reunited last month (NOV05) without former member ROBBIE WILLIAMS, have reportedly hired new management for next year's (06) 31-date reunion tour and forthcoming album.
Member MARK OWEN confirms, "Nigel set up the first set of tour dates but the band have always driven the shows, so there isn't really a role for him now."
Smith was particularly disliked by Williams - who left the chart-toppers in 1995 - and his sudden departure has sparked rumours the ANGELS hitmaker may join rejoin the band on their tour.

The sexy singer gushed about the Tripping star after revealing that all the Dolls are "young, free and single".
"I really fancy him," she told us. "I've watched a documentary on him and he seems very down-to-Earth and I can understand him and what he says.
"He reminds me of one of my uncles who I am really close to and I think I'll marry someone like him, so Robbie's definitely in with a chance." Don't Cha wish you had her number, Rob?
The girls' new single Beep will be downloadable next week on 3 Mobile.
Melody went on: "We have a huge female fanbase so it's not all horny men buying the album. Of course guys do like to watch us - being six beautiful girls certainly doesn't hurt."
And nor does a bit of modesty, love.'

Take That to make new album
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'British boyband TAKE THAT will record a new album after their spectacular comeback tour, the band's first LP of new material in 11 years.
The band last month (NOV05) revealed they will reform in 2006 for a 31-date reunion tour.
Since then every arena and stadium concert has sold out, and the four-piece are keen to cash in on the demand for their return, by heading back to the studio to record new songs.
A source reveals, "There's too much money in it for everyone for it to be ignored."
Meanwhile, singer MARK OWEN doesn't expect former member ROBBIE WILLIAMS to join the band when they hit the road.
Owen says of Williams, who quit the group in 1995, "He could come and do every night if he wanted, but I'm not expecting him to unless he's bored and there's nothing on the telly. He won't turn up."

Quoted from: http://www.contactmusic.com
'British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has made peace with former TAKE THAT bandmate JASON ORANGE.
The TRIPPING hitmaker and Orange resented each other when they were both members of the chart-topping boyband in the 1990s.
But since reforming the group with GARY BARLOW, HOWARD DONALD and MARK OWEN, Orange has spoken to Williams for the first time since he quit Take That in 1995, and they managed to find some common ground.
Orange says, "I guess my seriousness annoyed him in the old days and his seeming lack of discipline got to me.
"But I can see his perspective now. Now we're really connected."

Pop singer Robbie Williams wants to fly into space. The 31-year-old singer is desperate for Sir Richard Branson to invite him on the Virgin Galactic SpaceShip when it goes into orbit in 2010.
A ticket for the interstellar trip costs just £115,000 (about US $200,000) per person. However, Robbie might not have to go into space to meet aliens - he's already admitted he thinks they'll come to us one day.

Gongs and giggles at Comedy Awards
Quoted from: http://www.hellomagazine.com/
'15 DECEMBER 2005London's most glamorous residents were rolling in the aisles on Wednesday night as a roll-call of the UK's funniest celebs turned out for this year's British Comedy Awards. And with Robbie Williams and Samuel L Jackson both in attendance for the side-splitting event, there was no shortage of star power at the glitzy bash.

Little Britain's David Walliams and Matt Lucas were given plenty of reason to celebrate after picking up the best TV comedy gong for the second year running, while small screen veterans Victoria Wood and Julia Walters were likewise honoured, with an outstanding achievement trophy in recognition of their work together over the past 25 years. But perhaps the most noteworthy winner of the night was the relatively unknown Ashley Jensen, who took home the prizes for best actress and best newcomer for her role as Maggie in Extras. "I'm a wee bit speechless, and anyone who knows me knows that's an accomplishment," said the 36-year-old. "I'm completely blown away by the whole thing. It's a dream. I'm happy I won, but the prize was getting my job so anything else is a big bonus." Among the other performers popping open the bubbly were Paul O'Grady, who was named entertainment personality of the year, and Help star Chris Langham, who triumphed in the best actor category. Political satire The Thick Of It emerged as best new comedy, while Shameless took the honours for best comedy drama.'

robbiewilliams.com re-opened
Good news, for yesterday the renewed official Robbie Williams site, www.robbiewilliams.com was opened! Obviously a site where much effort has been put in, looking very nice qua design and content. But how does it look on the inside, the Inner Sanctum?
Bad news is that people who can't have a creditcard -or don't want to have a creditcard for security reasons- are not able to subscribe at the Inner Sanctum, and therefore can not buy in the webshop and make use of the offers of the Inner Sanctum. The old webshop also had an option to pay in another way than with creditcard (e.g. via internetbanking, like iDEAL), but this option is now not possible anymore. Creditcardless members of the old Inner Sanctum were left out in the cold with the release of the new webshop when finally tickets for the next tour were put on sale and the payment method was changed at the same time. Reasons to become a member of the Inner Sanctum are...to profit from special offers? Not if you're creditcardless.
Robbie Williams to croon for 007 in Casino Royale
Quoted from: http://www.whatistheword.com/
'British pop singer Robbie Williams cannot be 007 himself, but could very well sing for him in the next Bond movie, Casino Royale.Yahoo Music says that Williams is all set to record a song penned by Tony Christie. "Robbie's voice would suit it down to the ground - plus he's current and hip so it would be absolutely great if he did it. We tried to make it a typical Bond theme tune with a throbbing dramatic bassline filling the background," Christie is quoted as saying on the site."I'm a huge fan of the old-school 007 songs like Shirley Bassey with Goldfinger and Tom Jones singing Thunderball so I tried to give it that authentic sound. We are due to record it in February." The song, titled 'Do You Know the Way to Amarillo?' is to be the theme for the upcoming Bond flick. Williams recently won undisclosed libel damages after a magazine had alleged that he was gay and was concealing it.Casino Royale will star the new Bond, Daniel Craig and will be directed by Martin Campbell. Last month, the Daily Mirror had reported that South African Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron is being approached to play the next Bond girl. But these speculations have not been confirmed so far. It was also reported that the race for the next Bond girl is being fought between Angelina Jolie, Sienna Miller and Charlize Theron with the latter gaining precedence over the other two. Whoever gets to net the role will follow big names like Halle Berry, Britt Ekland, Ursula Andress and Teri Hatcher as Bond girl.

50 Cent: Robbie Williams is "A Sucker"
Quoted from: http://www.rwdmag.com
' Monday ,12th December 2005
The pair were recently staying at the same hotel in Germany where a series of incidents led to them falling out. Williams has stated that things started off on the wrong foot when his fans mistakenly chanted “Robbie, Robbie” when the G-Unit honcho’s vehicle pulled up outside the hotel. Further tension arose when Williams made complaints to the hotel, stating the volume of noise coming from 50’s room was keeping awake at night.
“He’s a sucker. He said I was keeping him awake,” Fiddy declared. “I know he wanted to meet me but I didn't have time. Maybe that's why he was upset.”
But it turns out that Robbie isn’t the only one who has been upset by the Queens MC. The Canadian authorities were reluctant to let him in the country to perform there as part of his tour. He eventually managed to get in along with Lloyd Banks, Ma$e and Olivia, though Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, M.O.P. and Young Buck were all denied entry.
Due to rising gun violence in Toronto, rappers with say rappers with criminal records now need to obtain a special permit to cross the border. 50 acquired a temporary resident's permit to fulfil his touring duties.
Half A Dollar aired his views on those who hadn’t let his crew into Canada later on, on stage. “Somebody got shot the other day and they said it was my fault and didn't want to let me in the country,” he told the crowd. “I was in immigration for about two hours today and I thought about turning back. Young Buck got turned back. And Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep and M.O.P. But I stuck it out...F**k the police!”
But it doesn’t stop there, along with his mentor Dr. Dre, 50 is facing a copyright infringement lawsuit from upcoming female rapper Janine ‘Jah Jah’ Gordon, an upcoming female rapper who is claiming that the duo infringed on several of her copyrights on 50’s album The Massacre.
Stay tuned to find out how 50 puts his various altercations right, or more likely add to them.

Entertainment.ie: review Intensive Care
Quoted from: http://entertainment.ie
' When Robbie Williams fans heard that he was leaving his long-term songwriting partner Guy Chambers and teaming up with Stephen Duffy, a few eyebrows must have been raised. After all, 'Tin Tin' Duffy's effete folk-pop has never exactly set the charts on fire. But in fact, Intensive Care is much the same as all other Williams albums - suggesting that maybe he's always had more creative control than he let on. So we get the usual mix of synth-heavy power pop, a dash of country-rock and a massive ballad ('Advertising Space') that's already a strong contender for the Christmas Number One. The problem, as always, is Robbie's massive ego, which manifests itself in some ridiculously self-obsessed lyrics. Still, there's more than enough here to ensure that his commercial bandwagon will roll on and on.

The RELIGHT MY FIRE hitmakers, who reunited last month (NOV05) without former member ROBBIE WILLIAMS, were so taken aback by the demand for tickets for their 11-date comeback tour, they have scheduled extra dates which will see them perform at some of the UK's largest venues.
Songwriter GARY BARLOW says, "We'll be really buzzed finishing at Wembley. I love CHARLOTTE CHURCH so would like her and the SUGABABES to support and maybe we could bring back another act..."
And Barlow, along with bandmates HOWARD DONALD, JASON ORANGE and MARK OWEN, is still leaving the door open for Williams - who quit the band in 1995 to launch his multi-million selling solo career - to join them on stage again.

Robbie Williams has compiled a playlist of his favourite songs for iTunes and, surprisingly, hasn't included any of his own.
Williams lists amongst his favourites an extremely eclectic range of tunes from Glenn Campbell and Dusty Springfield through to Electronic and Pet Shop Boys.
He picked Glenn Campbell's 'Wichita Lineman' saying it was 'my fav song' and says of Marianne Faithfull's banned underground classic 'Why'd Ya Do It' 'when I first learnt to play guitar I'd play this for my Grandma'.
He says he identifies with the character in Pet Shop Boys 'Nervous' which is why he selected it and for U2's 'Stay (Faraway So Close)' says 'they 'could have been as a big as Echo and the Bunnymen'.
Robbie's iTunes Playlist is:
'Wichita Lineman' - Glenn Campbell
'Why'd Ya Do It' - Marianne Faithfull
'Boogie Down Bronx' - Man Parrish
'Jackie' - Scott Walker
'Get The Message' - Electronic
'The Windmills of Your Mind' - Dusty Springfield

Robbie Williams spooked by German stalker -judge
Quoted from: http://today.reuters.co.uk
'Fri Dec 9, 2005 12:38 PM GMT
BERLIN (Reuters) - Pop star Robbie Williams has won an injunction in a German court against a woman who has been stalking him for months, the judge in the case said on Friday.
The woman had repeatedly tried to warn Williams that he was in danger of being abducted by aliens, local and national German newspapers reported.
"The musician felt badgered and threatened by her," said Ulrich Thole, chief judge of the court in Duesseldorf, where the woman lives and where Williams is due to appear in a television show on Saturday.
The woman, who sees herself as a "life-counsellor", bombarded Williams and his entourage for months with faxes and emails, and recently attempted to book into the same hotel as him in Berlin, Thole told Reuters.
She must now keep at least 200 metres away from the singer at all times and is forbidden to try to contact him in any way, he added.
A spokesman for the celebrity show hosting Williams on Saturday said the Duesseldorf woman did not need to worry. Even if she was right that aliens from outer space aimed to kidnap 31-year-old Williams, the police were prepared.
"The Duesseldorf police have dogs which can also detect aliens," Peter Gruhne said.

Gay activist demands Williams gives libel damages to gay charity
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS has been told by a leading gay rights activist he should donate the libel damages he won on Tuesday (06DEC05) over false claims he is a closet homosexual to a gay charity.
PETER TATCHELL, the founder of UK gay pressure group Outrage, insists the ANGEL singer should give away the money he was awarded from The People newspaper and Star and Hotstars magazines - because he has made the public believe he sees homosexuality as a negative thing.
Tatchell - who has grabbed headlines in Britain with a series of high profile publicity stunts - says, "Whatever Robbie's intention, his legal action has created the impression he thinks it is shameful to be gay.
"If he sees nothing wrong with being gay, why did he sue for libel? He has previously teased his gay fans with comments appearing to confirm that he has had gay relationships.
"In the light of his legal action, were these teasing remarks a cynical attempt to exploit the gay market? We don't know whether Robbie is gay or straight. It is irrelevant. Our concern is that he feels libel action is appropriate to counter suggestions that he might be covering up homosexuality.
"If Robbie wants to make amends, and reassure his gay fans, he should donate his libel winnings to a hard-pressed gay charity like Lesbian and Gay Switchboard."

Van Nistelrooy however had a penalty training with his football club Manchester United because the team lost the day before. 'I named my dog after Van Nistelrooy', said the popstar.
Williams will give four concerts in The Netherlands next year. The in total 200.000 cards for those were sold out within one and a half hour. 'When I heard about that, I did a dance of joy', said the singer. He said that he is sometimes surprised about his own fame. 'Can it possibly become larger than this?' For the time being it still seems that the singer is not yet at the top of his fame. He runs from here to there for promotion and gigs. 'The last four days I was in five countries and tonight I'm flying to Germany.'
Except talking about himself, the singer also wanted to know things about his hostess and host. He asked Bunskoek what she did before she started presenting RTL Boulevard. She told that she had to get up at 4 am every morning for her last show 'Goedemorgen Nederland' (Goodmorning Netherlands). 'That must have been devestating for your sexlife', concluded Williams.
'Are you gay?', he asked Verlinde. Which gave Verlinde a nice link to the courtcase the singer had won from several Brittish tabloids. These had written that Williams was gay, but have had to rectify. 'I really hate Brittish tabloids and every chance I can get to sue them I will take.'
Williams could also be seen in the SBS6 show 'Shownieuws'. Presentor Ellemieke Vermolen crawled into bed with the singer. He refused her offer to get in the tub with her, however.
Robbie Williams would love to date Naomi Campbell!
Quoted from: http://www.newkerala.com/
'Washington: Robbie Williams has denied secretly dating Naomi Campbell, but admitted that he would love to have an affair with the supermodel. The pop star dismissed claims by Campbell's former personal assistant Rebecca White, who had said that she once caught the pair in the throes of passion. 'I would love to have had a year-long tryst with her but the fact of the matter is I didn't,' Contactmusic quoted Williams as saying.'

The Guardian
Rubbish singer Robbie Williams has won "substantial damages" in a libel action against the People newspaper, which had alleged he was "pretending" to be heterosexual, that he "engaged in casual and sordid homosexual encounters with strangers", and was "about to deceive the public" over his sexuality in an autobiography. Pretty strong stuff, considering it turned out not to be true.
Now I'm no Robbie Williams fan - I'd rather shatter my jaw on a concrete bollard than sit through one of his videos - but I'm worried this legal action might lead to a reduction in the number of gossipy articles written about him, thereby creating a dangerous vacuum at the centre of modern tabloid culture.
In the absence of regular double-page spreads about Williams' latest notional high-jinks, the red tops might start printing other things, such as step-by-step photo guides instructing their readers how to wield pitchforks, form mobs and overthrow democracy.
Civilised society? I give it three weeks.
Only two things can save us. First, David Walliams needs to plug the gap by cranking up his colourful social life yet further, to the point of having sex with hollowed-out potatoes in public. And second, rather than printing stories that claim to be true yet turn out to be false, the celebrity press should start printing stories that claim to be false and remain that way.
After all, ultimately no one cares whether any of them ACTUALLY get up to this shit. That secretary flipping through Heat in her lunchbreak knows full well she's not reading vital information - just something dimly glitzy that'll take her mind off slashing her wrists and spraying blood in the faces of her co-workers for 10 seconds. That's all she wants. They can print what they want - even a row of numbers will do, so long as it's broken up now and then with the names of a few celebrities.
With this in mind, I'd like to dedicate the rest of this week's column to a list of things Robbie Williams would absoutely, positively NEVER say or do. Read it in your lunchbreak. OK? Let's go:
Robbie Williams would never shoot a man just to watch him die. Robbie Williams would never wrap a mouse's head in blotting paper and crush it with his heel. Robbie Williams would never threaten to gore a sales assistant to death with his antlers.
Robbie Williams would never jump on to Philip Schofield's back and demand to be flown to the nearest stargate. Robbie Williams would never suddenly turn into a two-dimensional diagram of himself printed on the inside of a ball bearing which continually rolls out of your field of vision the second you realise it's there.
Robbie Williams would never deliberately break a dairymaid's heart with a sarcastic puppet show. Robbie Williams would never attack a hill with his feet, hands and forehead. Robbie Williams would never change his name to Baron Plop-Plop and fly across Devon in an undersized Sopwith Camel with a hole in the bottom so he could stick his bum out and poo on people trying to enjoy picnics below. Robbie Williams would never seal himself inside an immense iron drum for 15 years with only a bee and a puddle for company.
Robbie Williams would never drink chalk, steer clouds, bite France or breathe deckchairs.
And nor would Tom Cruise.'

Girl fight: 50 Cent versus Robbie Williams
Quoted (and edited) from: http://thebosh.com/
'50 Cent has spoken out about his feud with Robbie Williams - branding the British singer "a sucker". The pair allegedly fell out when they stayed at the same hotel in Berlin a few weeks ago. The trouble reportedly started when fans at the swanky Ritz-Carlton mistook 50's car for Robbie's, and greeted him chanting, "Robbie, Robbie". It worsened when Robbie later told hotel staff the hip-hop star was keeping him awake. But the rapper insists the pair fell out because Robbie was angry that 50 refused to meet him. He told Britain's Glamour magazine: "He's a sucker."He said I was keeping him awake. I know he wanted to meet me but I didn't have time. Maybe that's why he was upset." Last month 50 revealed he is planning to create a ******** of his *******. The rapper also wants to release a line of condoms and *** toys. He said: "I need to make a 50 Cent condom and motorised version of me, which will have to be waterproof so you can utilise it in the tub."He added: "But I don't know how big. I don't know if big is better because I'm not sure a man wants his woman playing with a really big *****."Copyright Bang Media'

No sexy suits anymore for Take That
Translated from: http://www.telegraaf.nl
'By our redaction
AMSTERDAM -
There is little chance that Take-That fans will see the boys in exciting hotpants. Mark Owen is reluctant in pulling himself into tiny pants again after all those years...
Take That was very known in the 90-ties for their tight and little concealing suits. Ten years later the boys are not only a lot of years older, but they are also a few pounds heavier...
According to Mark Owen that period of little concealing outfits is laying far behind him. In The Sun he reveals: "We have not decided on what the show will look like. But one thing I know for sure, I will not wringle myself anymore in those tight little pants.'
'And I'm not going to bore the audience anymore with my naked bum'. That the female fans don't consider it as a problem at all if he would show his behind, the singer understands. 'But I promise our fans that they will get good stuff for their money."
Owen, who is getting together with his old bandmates Jason Orange, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald, also said that Robbie Williams, the fifth member of Take That, is still welcome to join.
'Jason spoke with Rob about our comeback, before it was announced. But Rob has a very crowded agenda. I think he would have joined if he would have had the time."
Owen, Barlow, Orange and Donald are starting their comeback tour in april 2006.'

He is one of the presentors (!) of an extra broadcast at 20:30. The regular RTL Boulevard-faces Daphne Bunskoek and Albert Verlinde will probe the worldstar. But ofcourse he can not leave without having sung. Therefore Robbie will sing two songs of his new cd.
Unpredictable
Daphne likes the idea of the conversation: 'Robbie Williams is a guarantee for reknown interviews. He is unpredictable so we will wait eagerly.' She spoke to Robbie before when she was still a Veejay at TMF.
Compliment
Albert Verlinde: 'It can not be foreseen what will happen, it can go in any direction. But that Robbie Williams is visiting RTL Boulevard, I consider a compliment for the programme. I am really looking forward to it.'
Action
And then ofcourse there is past week's sms-action. Normally there is no audience present in the studio, but for this occasion a hundred tickets have been given away via RTL Boulevard and RTL FM. The lucky winners probably are already jumping up and down, for so near their idol they have never been!'

(BANG) - Robbie Williams has reportedly asked actors Jude Law and Orlando Bloom to play in his charity football match. The heartthrob singer is leading the British team in the Soccer Aid event to raise funds for UNICEF - and is keen to add some Hollywood stars to his side.
An insider told Britain's The Sun newspaper the star has even invited TV heads to film the team training in the run-up to the charity match next May.
A source is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying, "Robbie is lining up his A-list pals to be filmed for a week-long reality show. Robbie doesn't drink, but he's happy to host some parties as they relax after training sessions."
Earlier this year, Robbie was paid £1 million GBP to sing for one hour at a birthday bash - and gave it all to charity.
The singer earned the mega wage for performing to 300 guests at the 50th birthday party of rich London banking district broker, Michael Spencer.
The star kicked off his intimate show with 'Let Me Entertain You' at midnight and finished with 'Angels' at 1am.

Robbie Williams wins 'gay' libel fight
Quoted from: http://www.telegraph.co.uk
'By Duncan Gardham(Filed: 07/12/2005)
Robbie Williams accepted substantial damages yesterday over an allegation that he was secretly gay and picked up strangers in a nightclub.
At a hearing at the High Court in London, the pop singer's solicitor said a newspaper article had alleged that while Williams was "pretending" that his only sexual relations had been with women "in reality he was a homosexual who had engaged in casual and sordid homosexual encounters with strangers".

The article in the People was published in August last year, shortly before the publication of the singer's biography Feel.
Tom Shields, Williams's solicitor, told Mr Justice Eady that the article, headlined "Robbie's secret gay lover", suggested that Williams was "about to deceive the public" over his sexuality in the forthcoming book.
He said: "It claimed that he had enticed a stranger into a toilet at a club in Manchester where the two men performed a sex act on each other and where Mr Williams requested that stranger to engage in a further sex act.
"It was also alleged that a year later Mr Williams had tried to persuade the same man, and then that man's friend, to engage in similar conduct at another Manchester club and that, when rebuffed, he had gone on to engage in a sexual encounter with another stranger in the streets behind the club."
The court heard that similar allegations were printed in Star magazine and Hot Stars, both published by Northern and Shell. Mr Shields said Mirror Group Newspapers, publishers of the People, and Northern & Shell now accepted that none of the allegations was true.
He added: "Mr Williams is not and never has been homosexual.' '

Williams launches commercial website
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'ROBBIE WILLIAMS is set to boost his fortune even further after launching his own website which sees the British singer become his very own "etailer".
The money-making site asks Robbie fans to pay a $45 (GBP25) per year subscription fee giving them access to thousands of pictures, every video he has made and behind the scenes shots.
Blue Latitude, the company involved in the site set-up says, "This isn't just about a promotional site, but a business vehicle.
"There has never been an artist's site quite so commercial before.
"We are taking a rights owner in Robbie Williams and shifting him into an etailer."

50 Cent: 'Williams is a sucker'
Quoted from: http://www.contactmusic.com
'Hardman rapper 50 CENT has branded ROBBIE WILLIAMS a "sucker" after the British singer complained about his behaviour when they stayed at the same German hotel in October (05).
The CANDY SHOP star, real name CURTIS JACKSON, and former boyband member Williams both checked into the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Berlin, but trouble reportedly brewed when Williams' fans mistook 50 Cent's car for the former TAKE THAT singers' and greeted the rapper chanting, "Robbie, Robbie."
The situation escalated when Williams later complained to hotel management, demanding they curb the hip-hop wildman's late night antics.
But 50 Cent has another explanation for their falling out - Williams felt humiliated because the hip-hop star refused to meet him.
He says, "He's a sucker. He said I was keeping him awake.
"I know he wanted to meet me but I didn't have time. Maybe that's why he was upset."

Robbie Williams tops calendar chart
Quoted from: http://news.scotsman.com
'Robbie Williams is Britain's top date - as the star of the year's best-selling calendar.
The singer is number one in the 2006 calendar chart.
But David Beckham has failed to make the top 10 for the first time - and he is being outsold by Sir Cliff Richard.
The annual chart was compiled by Danilo, Europe's biggest official calendar company.
Little Britain are second in the list, while Manchester United and Arsenal have tied for third place.
Liverpool and Chelsea football clubs are in fourth, followed by last year's chart-topper Kylie Minogue.
Sir Cliff makes it to sixth place, ahead of The Simpsons, McFly, the stars of WWE wrestling and the Hollyoaks Babes.
Beckham is languishing in a lowly 11th place.
The top 20 includes Harry Potter, Jennifer Ellison and Girls Aloud, with a place at the bottom for Wallace and Gromit. England Ashes hero Freddie Flintoff was just outside the top 20.
The chart was compiled from sales in the nation's top 10 retailers including HMV, Asda and Woolworths.

MODEL TELLS HOW £90M ROBSTER BEGGED HER TO 'RELIGHT OUR FIRE'
By Simon Wright
SUPERSTAR Robbie Williams persuaded his childhood sweetheart to abandon Britain and move to California with him - then dumped her after just FIVE days.
Rachel Gilson gave up everything - including her boyfriend - when Robbie begged her to set up home with him in Los Angeles this summer. But after four days at the singer's Beverly Hills mansion, Williams said it wasn't working...and the next day he sent the heartbroken model packing.
In the short time she was there, Rachel was shocked by the star's bizarre behaviour, which she blamed on his anti-depressants.
Today Rachel, described by Robbie in his recent autobiography as his "one and only true love", lives with her company director boyfriend Martin Livesey at a semi in Bury, Lancs.
"I thought it was for real," she says sadly. "But he's just too famous for it to work."
Robbie - nowadays worth an estimated £90million - and 33-year-old Rachel grew up together in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs. They have had a secret on-off relationship since they fell in love when they were both 16 and at school.
Robbie left to become a dancer and eventually joined Take That, while Rachel was spotted by a local modelling agency and became a fashion model.
A few months ago he rang her from his mansion in LA. Insisting that neither was getting any younger, he told her he was "ready to settle down" and that they were destined to be together.
And, in the words of one of his best-selling anthems, he added: "You're The One."
Days later she arrived at his £2million home with her suitcases, ready to start a new and permanent life in America.
But last night, with searing honesty, Rachel admitted that her heart had been broken again.
She said: "We are two people who should be together, but we just can't work it out. It is heartbreaking, but Rob and I have been here before.
"I did go to America but now I'm back here. What can I say? I don't think we're ever going to get married. Yes, it would be the best story ever, but I don't think it's ever going to happen."
She said she had promised Robbie not to reveal details of their romance. She smiled: "I could tell you so much more about those five days - but I just can't. It's between Rob and me.
"I have my boyfriend Martin to think about and I would never do anything to hurt him." She went on: "We know we should be together, but unfortunately Rob's just this megastar - and that just keeps getting in the way. But you know what, even if he was just a painter and decorator from Stoke it would be the same.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I would love to tell you so many things, but Rob's just this massive power and everybody wants to know everything.
"But there's a track on his album called Ghost - and the lyrics to that say it all."
Ghost, on Robbie's Intensive Care album, is about two tortured lovers, unable to escape from the shadow of their shared passion. It contains the line: "I don't need you, but I'm lost without you."
Robbie - who this week smashed the world record for selling the most number of concert tickets in a day - named Rachel for the first time as his "one and only true love" in his life story published last year. After its publication, Rachel spoke of how they had tried numerous times to make it work but that it had always ended in heartbreak - for them both.
According to friends, her most recent heartache began when he begged her to drop everything and join him in LA.
She flew out of the UK excitedly believing that their "special bond" had finally won through. They had an emotional reunion and Rob explained that this time it was for real," says the friend.
"Rachel told him they'd been there before and that she didn't want her heart broken again.
"No one knows him like Rachel does and she believed him when he insisted he was ready to settle down and that he wanted to grow old with her.
"They've been through so much together and Rachel has taken so much sh** from him in the past that she was understandably wary. They've always known deep down that they are the love of each other's lives, but that's never been enough in the past. They talked for hours and he convinced her he was serious."
For the first couple of days they were lost in each other like a couple of love-struck teenagers.
"Rob showed her round his house and took her out for long lunches and they just hung-out talking about how perfect things were going to be," says the friend. "Rachel thought that they really were capable of making it work for good. But she and Rob had a blazing row and she knew then that it wasn't going to work. They tried to talk the following day. But it all ended in tears. Rob told her he was sorry but she had to go home. He said it couldn't possibly work.
"She hung around for another night but then flew back to England. They've spoken on the phone since, but Rachel's finding it really hard. She feels like he's broken her heart again. She loves Rob and he loves her but she knows it's destroying them both. She blames his eccentric behaviour on his use of anti-depressants."
Last night Robbie's spokesman said: "Rachel came out to visit Robbie in the summer. He only takes prescribed anti-depressants and any suggestions of drug misuse or any other inapproprite behaviour on his part are wholly untrue."
Rachel said: "Martin is my boyfriend but I was single when I went to visit Robbie."
ROBSTER'S OTHER ONES
ROBBIE has been linked with a string of celebrity beauties over the years - but has never found his Miss Right. He dated ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell (pictured left) in the late-90s and was rumoured to have slept with two others in the group. He went out with ex-All Saint Nicole Appleton before she wed Oasis star Liam Gallagher, and, shortly after quitting Britain for LA, he was pictured sunbathing naked with Rod Stewart's ex-wife Rachel Hunter. He also enjoyed a relationship with Nicole Kidman (right) shortly after she split with ex-husband Tom Cruise and two years ago dated society beauty Tamara Mellon, boss of the Jimmy Choo shoe empire.'

'Advertising Space', the second single to be taken from Robbie Williams new album 'Intensive Care' is released on Monday December 12th 2005. 'This is my 'True Romance' song,' Robbie says, 'the one where, like Christian Slater in the film, I like to believe I have direct access to Elvis Presley every now and then.' Elegiac, mournful and profoundly cinematic, it describes a superstar's tragic fall from grace. Robbie jokingly describes it as his own 'Candle In The Wind'. 'Advertising Space' was written and recorded by Robbie Williams and Stephen Duffy in Robbie Williams' bedroom high in the Hollywood Hills as part of his 8th Album 'Intensive Care'. 'Intensive Care' released on Monday 24th October 2005, it entered the album charts at No.1 in 16 countries, including the Billboard European Top 100 Albums chart. Robbie's over-the-counter first week sales of 'Intensive Care' in the UK were almost 20% higher than his previous fastest-selling album release in 2004 - 'Greatest Hits'. More than 373,000 copies of the album were sold in the UK first week, making it the second fastest selling album of the year and the fourth fastest selling album since records began. At one point 'Intensive Care' was selling at the rate of nine copies per second in the UK. Three million copies were shipped worldwide to retail in just seven days. Robbie Williams' global solo album sales currently stand in excess of 40 million copies. 'Intensive Care' has dominated the digital charts since its release, sitting at No.1 in the iTunes chart in 14 out of 20 territories. The album peaked at No. 4 position in the US, where the album is only released digitally. Robbie Williams has accrued an impressive 22 top ten singles in the UK alone. Seven out of eight of his albums have also reached No. 1. Robbie has amassed a record 15 Brit Awards, three Ivor Novellos, a Q Magazine Classic Songwriting Award and all manner of worldwide MTV gongs. 'Live at Knebworth', the commemorative album recorded over three nights in 2003, where he played to 375,000 fans (another record), holds the title of fastest selling live album the UK.Watch the video:

George Michael is getting desperate
Quoted from: http://contactmusic.com
'GEORGE MICHAEL has advised fellow British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS to consider homosexual liaisons, to keep him firmly in the public eye.
AMAZING hitmaker Michael, who was famously arrested for lewd conduct in a Los Angeles toilet in 1998, has enjoyed being out of the limelight for the past few years, and credits Williams' notoriety with giving him an untroubled life.
But he has jokingly pleaded with the ANGELS singer to spice up his love life with a homosexual affair to make sure the tabloids stay interested.
He says, "I send a cheque to Robbie every month thanking him for being in the tabloids so much.
"He should start sleeping with men for more attention. Maybe he already has!"

Robbie Williams retires to the studio
Quoted from: http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au
'Cameron Adams
01dec05
POP star Robbie Williams has warned fans his next world tour may be his last.
Williams' 2006 European tour broke world records last week, selling 1.8 million tickets in a single day.
The tour will visit Australia late next year, with dates to be confirmed.
"I'm not going to tour for a long, long time after this tour," Williams told the Herald Sun yesterday.
"There's a year-long celebration for me next year, of what I've achieved as a solo artist, and it comes in the form of me getting on stage in stadiums.
"After that I'll say 'Thank you very much', but it's not something I want to do (again) for a long time."
But Williams was quick to say he was not calling it quits, just retreating to the studio.
"I'm not retiring, I've got so many ideas for albums," he said.
"I want to put three albums out a year, but contractually I can't at the moment.
"But I will be able to."
Williams confirmed he might rejoin former band Take That, which will
re-form for British tour dates next year.
The singer left the band acrimoniously in 1995, but has become friends again with his former bandmates.
A new Take That compilation is No. 3 in British charts this week, with Williams' own album Intensive Care at No. 4.
The other four members -- songwriter Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen -- are getting a reported $3 million each to do the tour.
The Take That shows fit into a gap in Williams' touring schedule next year. He is tipped to make at least one cameo with the now all-grown-up boy band behind hits Back For Good and Never Forget.
"You'll have to see," he said. "If I did it, it wouldn't be about the money. But I can't say no to anything at the moment. I like to keep an open mind." '
Robbie has snubbed sir Elton John's wedding
Quoted from: http://www.uk-flava.com/
'Robbie Williams has snubbed Sir Elton John's wedding - because he doesn't want to socialise with old Take That bandmate Gary Barlow who is singing at the reception. The superstar singer had a huge row with Gary when he left the popular boyband in 1995.
Despite settling his differences with Gary and the other band members - Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - Robbie is not ready to be in the same room as the man he once branded a "fat bully".
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Hopefully Robbie's snub won't upset Elton, who has only recently forgiven Robbie for claiming in his autobiography that Elton kidnapped him and forced him into rehab.
Gary was devastated Rob rejected £5million to reunite with Take That for their 11-date-tour. And he was hoping he could finally catch up with Robbie at the wedding.
Gary said: "Its been 10 years since I talked to Robbie. I've had messages from friends saying he sends his love. If he really wanted to reach out he could do."
But despite the problems with Robbie, Gary says he is thrilled to be performing at Elton and partner David Furnish's wedding next month.
He said: "I'll perform something from the back catalogue." '
