Maradona signs up for Soccer Aid show

'Soccer legend Diego Maradona has been confirmed as a late inclusion to Gordon Ramsey's team, which will take on Robbie Williams' team in the charity show 'Soccer Aid' at the weekend.
According to the show's official website, Maradona will fly over to England from Buenos Aires to play in the charity game at Old Trafford next Saturday.
It has also been announced that former England captain Bryan Robson will take to the pitch at the event.
Williams will captain the England team, which is being managed by Terry Venables, with television presenters Jonathan Wilkes and Ben Shephard, DJ Jamie Theakston, 'Coronation Street' star Bradley Walsh and snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan joining him.
Former England players David Seaman, Tony Adams, Paul Gascoigne and John Barnes have also been named as part of Williams' team.
Joining Ramsey on the Rest of the World team, managed by Rudd Gullitt, are Formula 1 racing driving Eddie Irvine, former rugby star David Campese, pop singer Brian McFadden, comedian Patrick Kielty and television presenter Craig Doyle.
Former football stars who have been named on the team include Gianfranco Zola, Marcel Desailly, David Ginola and Lothar Matthaus.
Speaking about Maradona's inclusion in the team, pop singer Brian McFadden said: "I will probably be running with Maradona, just looking at him, trying to kiss him or something."
Bookmakers William Hill are currently offering odds of 40/1 for Maradona to score a goal, which stands, with his hand.
The Rest of the World team captained by Gordon Ramsey are currently 11/10 favourites to win the match.
Proceeds from 'Soccer Aid' will go towards UNICEF. Williams, who is an ambassador for the charity, said: "When I was in South Africa last month, I saw how UNICEF is helping children."
"There are 15 million children orphaned by Aids in the world. Money raised by 'Soccer Aid' will help make life easier for children like the ones I met," he said. '
