Take That are currently playing a sell-out nationwide arena tour, whereas East 17 have been struggling to fill seats for their comeback gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire

The battle of the boybands is raging more than ever as Take That take a slating from East 17 singer Tony.
No, you haven't entered a time warp- there really is still rivalry between the two top boybands of the 90's, but this time the war seems more fierce than ever.
In an attempt to win over fans, East 17's Tony Mortimer unleashed a scathing attack on the Mancunian lads saying they only got their publicity back by playing "the Robbie card."
Tony reckons the lads are a trumped-up version of the Village People and that they are only successful for a second time round because of the intense media speculation that Robbie Williams may join them in concert.
Is Tony slightly bitter we ask? Given the currently statistics of each band, it would appear so.
Tony is quick to point out that his group sold more records than Gary & Co worldwide, although the figures speak for themselves.
Take That are currently playing a nationwide arena tour, with all 250,000 tickets selling out in just 30 minutes, whereas East 17 have been struggling to fill seats for their comeback gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
Never mind Tony, us Brits obviously don't mind a bit of Village People-style cheese!'
